Tanna and HenryHenry Jaglom’s 17th film as writer/director, Queen of the Lot, is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide this fall. Currently he is shooting his 18th film, Just 45 Minutes From Broadway, adapted from his hit play which just closed after a year-long run at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica. Tanna Frederick will reprise her onstage starring role and Judd Nelson will be her costar in the film, along with — from the original cast — Julie Davis, Jack Heller, David Proval, Diane Salinger and Harriet Schock. Ms. Frederick also costars with Noah Wyle in Queen of the Lot, which also stars Christopher Rydell and features performances by Peter Bogdanovich, Dennis Christopher, Kathryn Crosby, Mary Crosby, Jack Heller, Sabrina Jaglom, Zack Norman, David Proval and Paul Sand. The cinematographer on both films is Mr. Jaglom’s longtime collaborator Hanania Baer and the producer is Rosemary Marks.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jaglom’s very first feature, A Safe Place (1971) starring Tuesday Weld, Jack Nicholson and Orson Welles, will be released on December 14 in Criterion’s uniquely special box-set America Lost and Found: The BBS Story, which includes films produced by BBS Productions at Columbia Pictures in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The other films included in the anthology, which is listed at $99.95, are Head (1968), Easy Rider (1969), Five Easy Pieces (1970), Drive, He Said (1971), The Last Picture Show (1971) and The King of Marvin Gardens (1972).

Also coming out this fall on DVD is the box-set: Henry Jaglom Collection Volume 1: Love and Romance, containing three films: Always (But Not Forever) (1985), Venice/Venice (1992) and Deja Vu (A Love Story) (1997). Breaking Glass Pictures will release the collection on November 9 at a list price of $24.99. For further information please contact:
