The 3^rd annual Project Save Our Surf: SURF 24 took place on June 19^th-20^th in Huntington Beach, California. Event founder Tanna Frederick along with former world champion surfers Peter ”PT” Townend and Shaun Tomson were on hand all weekend for the 24-hour surfathon which hosted a myriad of celebrity and pro-surfers in an effort to raise money for charities Heal the Bay, Surfrider Foundation and Inside the Outdoors. The event coincided with International Surfing Day, which was established by Surfrider Foundation and Surfing Magazine to promote clean oceans and clean water.

On June 19, 2010, Huntington Beach–America’s “Surf City”– held the third annual Surf 24 event. Put on by Project Save Our Surf, the event features eco-friendly exhibits, contests, concerts, and, most notably–a 24-hour surf-a-thon. This year, proceeds reached over $50,000 and went to Surfrider Foundation, Heal the Bay, and Inside the Outdoors.

Superstar film actress Tanna Frederick is excited to announce the upcoming debut of “Queen of the Lot,” a film which was shot almost two years ago in Bel Air. The film is the sequel to her 2006 acclaimed “Hollywood Dreams.” When that film ended, Margie was on her way to stardom and had just left Iowa to make Hollywood her home. When “Queen” begins, Tanna’s character has changed her name to Maggie Chase and she’s officially a star at a major studio in Tinseltown. What else has been happening in Maggie’s life? A couple DUI’s and the wearing of a Scram ankle bracelet which is due to her being put under house arrest. Maggie’s been in competition with star Lindsay Lohan for bad behavior.
